we have an
accommodation vessel that can be used alongside oil rigs, platforms etc and for
oceanographic, seismic and other survey purposes.
The vessel can provide accommodation for 79 persons (including crew). The vessel is fully
air-conditioned and has a large mess room and a hospital.
The vessel has an open space of 90sq.m on the main deck, 30sq.m on the forward shelter
deck and 110sq.m on the wheel house deck. There is an air-conditioned survey and postprocessing
room on the main deck of size 40sq.m. The vessel also has a 55sq.m hold for
stowing stores, machinery and survey items.
Seapol One can store up to 276cu.m of her fuel. She consumes about 0.8 MT of MDO while
idle and about 4MT of MDO while steaming. Her fresh water generator can produce about
10MT per day while at sea. On the forward main deck, she has a hoist of SWL 0.9 MT and a
crane of SWL up to 3 MT. Last dry dock was at Keppel shipyard, Singapore in October 2007.
